Are you over 50? Is it important for you to prevent muscle loss related to age? Well, then you might be interested in the study conducted by Prof. Dr. Alfredo Córdova Martínez and Prof. Enrique Roche from the University of Elche in cooperation with Club Fit in Jávea. This project researches about the effects of physical exercise and supplementation on the development of sarcopenia. Sarcopenia is the loss of muscle mass and strength caused by aging. If you are interested in reducing your risk of sarcopenia and are willing to exercise regularly and follow some recommendations on healthy eating, we invite you to participate in this study.
The participants need to undergo the following assessments:
- Evaluation of body proportions and body composition
- Evaluation of nutritional habits
- Evaluation of physical capacity
- Blood tests
